LTC CoMorPD Researchers' mobility in Bordeaux

Laura De las Heras-García and Teresa Sierra-Arregui, researchers from the LTC CoMorPD are already in Bordeaux for their international stays. Teresa obtained a postdoctoral grant from the Basque Government at the beginning of the year, which will allow her to spend the first two years of her research there. Laura has a pre-doctoral grant in co-direction between the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and the University of Bordeaux (UB) and started her one-year stay in September. Both are under the supervision of Cristina Miguélez from the UPV/EHU and Jérôme Baufreton from the UB.

During this time, they will develop their work in the French part of the LTC, in the Dopamine and Neuronal assemblies’ laboratory, located at the Institute of Neurodegenerative Diseases (IMN).

Their research focuses on the early stages of Parkinson’s disease, especially on non-motor symptoms.
