CannaMetHD is the new granted LTC for 2024

During the last EHU Euskampus Bordeaux Eguna, the Vice-Presidents of Research from the University of Bordeaux and the University of the Basque Country have announced the 8th granted LTC (resolution of the 2024 LTC call of Proposals). The former LTC incubator CannaMetHD becomes an LTC.

The “CannaMetHD” LTC is led by principal investigators Susana Mato, from the Department of Neurosciences at the University of the Basque Country, and Giovanni Marsicano from the “Endocannabinoids and Neuroadaptation” field, within the NeuroCentre Magendie at the University of Bordeaux. This new LTC will focus on research into the modulation of glial cell biology by CB1 receptors, extending current knowledge of the molecular and cellular features of (endo)cannabinoid signaling in the central nervous system.
